GroenLinks wants to do everything in its power to tackle the severe housing shortage. We will not fixate on numbers alone, but on building a complete city: with suitable, sustainable, and affordable homes, and sufficient public facilities. This is how we will ensure that residents of Amsterdam can find a suitable home at every stage of life, and that communities are preserved and strengthened.

We are in the middle of a climate crisis. The weather is getting disrupted, and this is hitting the most vulnerable people first and hardest. Doing nothing is not an option. Our city takes responsibility. We must radically green our local economy and our energy supply for ourselves, the world, and future generations.
HUMAN RIGHTS
Amsterdam is an international, diverse and multi-voiced city. A city of people who have lived here for generations and people who have only just arrived. Many Amsterdammers are concerned about the state of the world: the rise of fascism, the erosion of the international legal order, and the climate catastrophe that is increasingly unfolding.
